CHE vs ATM : Bad News For Chelsea As Tuchel Confirms Absence Of 4 First Team Stars

  • Chelsea will hope to complete the task when they face Atletico Madrid on Wednesday.
  • Chelsea has an advantage over the Spanish club after defeating them at home by 1-0.
  • The game at Stamford Bridge will be played tomorrow to see who advances to the Champions league Round of 8.

Ahead of the game, Chelsea Head Coach Thomas Tuchel confirmed Chelsea will be without four key players.

Both Jorginho and Mount will miss the game due to suspension. They recieved the booking in the first leg of the game.

However, Tammy Abraham and Thiago Silva will also be absent due to Injury. Although Tuchel expects both of them to be fit and ready after the international break in Early April, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.

Tuchel on worries about not having Mount and Jorginho:

“Yes, a little bit. Of course, two key players for us.” He however said they will have to do without them .

Chelsea are still unbeaten under Thomas Tuchel. The Blues have made their defense strong and what they will need do is dig their heels in and defend out of their skin.

 

Atletico Madrid missed a great opportunity to keep their position at the top of the La Liga table as they played goalless draw by 10-men Getafe. Atletico have fought for form recently and have won only two of their last seven games.
