CHE vs MCI: Guardiola Gives His Verdict On Tuchel Ahead Of FA Cup Clash

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola is no stranger to Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel, as he knows the German pretty much from their time in the Bundesliga, Germany.

Current Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel, took charge of Bundesliga side Mainz before going on to Borussia Dortmund, and he faced Pep Guardiola with the two teams, although he never won any of them.

Despite current Chelsea boss not getting a win against Pep Guardiola in Germany, the Manchester City boss still rates him very high.

Pep Guardiola has hailed the job done by Tuchel so far, and revealed that he has always known the Chelsea Boss will succeed and excel, EKO HOT BLOG  gathered.

He said: “I know Thomas Tuchel from Mainz,” Pep Guardiola said in his prematch press conference on Friday. “When I was in Bayern Munich, after he went to Borussia Dortmund and spent one or two games, I saw that he played exactly the way he wanted to play.

“Back there in Germany, It was difficult to take over a team during the season but Thomas has a lot of experience winning at a top club like PSG and now another top club at Chelsea.

“I definitely knew from the beginning he would do a good job over here at Chelsea”
