EKO HOT BLOG reports that Robert Lewandowski was named The Best FIFA Men’s Award for 2021 on Monday as the Poland star earned the honour for the second consecutive year.

The Bayern Munich striker beat off competition from Lionel Messi and Mohamed Salah to take home the coveted crown.

The Best FIFA Football Awards is an association football award presented annually by the sport’s governing body, FIFA.

The first awarding ceremony was held on 9 January 2017 in Zürich, Switzerland. The award is aimed at reviving the FIFA World Player of the Year.

Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo was presented with a special award at the FIFA Best Awards held in Switzerland on Monday evening.
