Former Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt beat England’s Jordan Sancho to win the Kopa Trophy which was won first by Paris Saint-German star, Kylian Mbappe last year.

De Ligt who joined Juventus in the summer won the best young player award after helping Ajax to the Semi-Final of Champions League last season.

FIFA Women’s World World Cup winner, Megan Rapinoe won the 2019 Women’s Ballon d’Or award after her contribution in Summer World Cup won in France by the United States Women’s team.
