EKO HOT BLOG reports on Premier League fixture between West Ham United and Chelsea in Saturday’s early kick off fixture.
The match ended in a stalemate between both London rivals in a 1-1 draw with the Hammers needing to come into the game after Joao Felix opened the scoring within the first 20 minutes.
The fixture looked to be the much needed win the Blues were hoping for after January signings, Enzo Fernandez and Joao Felix raced to put Chelsea ahead via a master class from Fernandez to beat the West Ham defense.
However West Ham’s player, Emerson was on hand to level the score line before 30 minutes had hit the mark to frustrate the Blues’ afternoon.
Chelsea remain without a win in the Premier League after 3 games despite bringing in signings in the January window.
The score line could have been worse however had VAR not ruled out what could have been a winner from Thomas Soucek for West Ham.
It remains to be seen.
