However according to El Nacional, Marina Granovskaia has pulled Chelsea out of the race to sign Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer this summer following Thomas Tuchel’s concerns with the 22-year-old.
The report claims that the Blues are no longer willing to submit a ‘great offer’ for the Paris Saint Germain forward after Tuchel communicated his doubts as to whether or not his former player would cooperate with his tactics.
Tuchel had also revealed earlier this season in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport that “It’s easier to coach Lukaku than Neymar or Mbappe. At Chelsea, I work much more calmly.”
The 22-year-old has only one year left on his current deal with PSG but has refused to extend his contract with the Ligue 1 club.

PSG recently rejected Real Madrid’s €220million deadline day bid for Mbappe despite the player’s contract expiring in a year.
Mbappe joined PSG from AS Monaco in 2017.
He featured 98 times under Tuchel at Les Parc des Princes, scoring 46 goals while also winning the Ligue 1 title twice.
