EKO HOT BLOG reports that Chelsea are reportedly ready to offer Armando Broja and Christian Pulisic to AC Milan in a sensational swap deal swoop for forward Rafael Leao, according to reports.
The Blues are big admirers of Leao and could offload some of their fringe players in return for the highly-rated Portugal ace.
Leao was a target of Chelsea’s in the summer transfer window but a move was deemed too expensive. The west Londoners could instead attempt to sign the 23-year-old in January to bolster Graham Potter’s attack.
Milan are believed to want around £105million (€120m) for their prized asset, who starred against Chelsea in the Champions League this season.
The Stamford Bridge hierarchy are reportedly willing to pay a large chunk of the fee in addition to sending two players to Milan.
Chelsea are considering offering striker Broja and winger Pulisic to Milan to make up the £105m asking price. Fellow attacker Hakim Ziyech is considered another option.
According to the Italian publication Tuttomercatoweb, who also reports that Manchester City will compete with Chelsea to sign Leao. The forward – who prefers to play on the left side of attack – is one of the most highly-rated stars in Europe.
Leao has already scored six goals and provided nine assists in just 17 games this season. He started both of Milan’s Champions League group-stage clashes with Chelsea.
The former Sporting Lisbon and Lille star struck 14 goals and added 12 assists last term to catch the attention of some of Europe’s top clubs.
Chelsea boss Potter is not known for speaking about transfer targets but broke rank when asked about Leao a couple of weeks ago.
