Currently, Kai Havertz plays for Chelsea. However, with a new manager set to be appointed, Havertz’s future with the Blues is uncertain at the moment.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Bayern Munich has emerged as the front-runner to sign Chelsea striker Kai Havertz, according to reports. The German international has also been linked with a move to Barcelona, but the Bavarian giants are leading the race to secure his signature.
Havertz joined Chelsea from Bayer Leverkusen in a £72 million deal in 2020 and has been one of the key players at Stamford Bridge since then. The 23-year-old, who can play as a striker or an attacking midfielder, has helped Chelsea win three trophies this season.

However, his performances have been somewhat lacklustre in recent weeks, and he has been linked with a move away from the club as a result. In 37 appearances across all competitions this season, Havertz has scored just nine goals and provided one assist.
Former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is reportedly interested in reuniting with Havertz, with whom he worked at Stamford Bridge. Tuchel views Havertz as a long-term option in the centre-forward role and is a big admirer of the German’s abilities.
Havertz’s contract with Chelsea runs until June 2025, but he is interested in playing under Tuchel again. While Barcelona has also been linked with the midfielder, it appears Bayern Munich is currently in pole position to sign him.
