EKO HOT BLOG reports that The Lagos State Executive Council has felicitated former Lagos State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Mrs. Kemi Nelson on the occasion of her birthday.
The Council described her as dependable and reliable, one who is always ready to offer help whenever such is needed.

The statement read in part:” Lagos State Executive Council joins all Lagosians to celebrate the birthday of our amiable Dr. Mrs. Kemi Nelson, former Lagos State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation on her birthday. We celebrate this special occasion with you and your entire family.”
Also, the All Progressive Congress (APC) members, friends, followers of the renowned political figure and administrator took to the comment section of her Facebook page to congratulate her on her birthday.
Chief Kemi Nelson who was full of gratitude said she give all the Glory to God for sparing her life to witness another 356 days as she celebrates her birthday today.
She said this in a phone conversation with EKO HOT BLOG who reached out to her on the occasion of her birthday.
The renowned political figure and administrator thanked God for the journey so far, for sparing her life all through the pandemic period, the lessons she has learnt and for the love.
Chief Nelson, declared that it is neither by her power nor by her might, but that it is only God who has made it possible for her life to witness her birthday.
Chief (Mrs.) Kemi Nelson is married to Mr. Adeyemi Nelson and they are both blessed with wonderful children.
She served as the Lagos State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation between 1999 and 2003.
She had also served as the women leader of Lagos State chapter of APC and later made the south-west women leader of APC. She is the only female member of the influential Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) of Lagos State.
She is well known in the social circle for her low-cut hairstyle, her unique headgear and her dancing prowess.
