In an unusual move but that which fulfils a promise to his wife, Hollywood actor, Chris Hemsworth, has announced his decision to quit Hollywood for family reasons.
According to the actor, the “Star Trek” actor’s decision to quit acting is fuelled by the desire to spend more time with his family.
The actor, who got married to actress, Elsa Pataky in 2010, is a vocal feminist and is wishing to keep hos part of the bargain to his wife.
Hemswprth and wife decided that when they started having kids, his wife would suspend acting to make the process of making babies easier while Chris continues to act.
Now that the kids are considerably grown, it is is the “Avengers: Endgame” actor’s turn to cease appearing in movies while his wife resumes acting, leading him to announce he wants to stay with Elsa Pataky, who is eight years older and their three children – 7-year-old India Rose and Sasha and Tristan, both five year olds.
“I just want to be at home now with my kids,” he told the Daily Telegraph, adding: “They are at a very important age. They are still young and they are aware when I leave more than before.”
