By Judith Ukoh

The CJN made the call while swearing in six new judges of the National Industrial Court in Abuja.

Justice Ariwoola said high-profile cases would definitely come before them in the course of discharging their duties and may come accompanied with irresistible gifts, especially when mouth-watery financial transactions are involved.

The CJN, however, told judicial officers to conduct their affairs within the ambit of the law and the oath taken.

Justice Ariwoola reminded the judicial officers that they have a divine mandate on earth and must discharge their duties with honesty and sincerity.

He added that no judicial officer at any level of our courts will be allowed to drag the reputation of the Nigerian judiciary into the mud.
