Rauf Aregbesola, minister of interior, says reports that there is dearth of passport booklet in the country and that Nigerians are having a torrid time getting their passport is false.
Aregbesola stated this on Tuesday at a virtual colloquium with the theme: “Africa: Interrogating the Leadership Questions”.
Asked about reasons for the scarcity of passport booklets at immigration centres across the country, the former Osun governor said it is false to say that booklets are not available.
He noted that there is no passport station in the world that does not have booklets more than it can process, adding that passport processing centres are being structured for smooth operations.
