Security operatives of Thailand have arrested a 36-year-old Nigerian, Michael “Mark” Ikenna, for allegedly dealing cocaine across the country.
Ikenna was arrested alongside his 25-year-old Thai girlfriend, Nantana Chiewpanitch, when undercover police officers in a sting operation arranged to buy 10 grams of cocaine from him in Takhiantia on March 26.
The Nigerian was arrested outside his house in Takhiantia house.

Narcotics police arrested the girlfriend inside the apartment but she denied involvement in drug peddling, saying she has only known Ikenna for a few months and worked in a call centre in Bangkok.
Investigators then searched their apartment in Bangkok where they recovered nearly a gram of cocaine and hundreds of plastic bags which were said to have been used to package drugs for sale in Bangkok, the East and Central regions.
Officers reportedly seized 9.8 grams of the substance from him.
