“Come Out En Masse For APC Mega Rally” – Political Officeholders Urge Epe Residents

Eko Hot Blog reports that all is set for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to hold a “powerful” and “impactful” rally in support of its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, Rep. Wale Raji, and other party candidates in Epe.

The state’s political officeholders said preparations are in top gear for the mega campaign rally set to take place at the Epe recreation centre, Epe, on Wednesday, February 1st, 2023.

The event, which is expected to draw thousands of supporters from across the Epe Division, will feature speeches from a diverse group of leaders, as well as musical performances and other forms of artistic expression.
The rally has prompted a united call from political officeholders in Epe for residents to come out en masse to support the APC.
Honorable Adeyemi Ikuforiji, the speaker emeritus, Lagos State House Of Assembly, said the All Progressive Congress(APC)flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains the most cerebral and most qualified of all the Presidential candidates.
” It is payback time, and it’s time to pay back Asiwaju for the love he has demonstrated for the Epe community. Our goal in Epe division is to deliver nothing short of One million votes in this election.We have the numbers. We have the structures, and we shall deliver” Kuforiji concluded.

Speaking on Epe APC’s preparations for the rally, Hon. Abiodun Tobun, the Lawmaker representing Epe Constituency I at the Lagos State House of Assembly, noted that despite the logistical challenges of planning such a large event, the organisers are “confident that the rally will be a powerful and impactful show of solidarity for the party.”
“As a presidential candidate of our great party, I understand that the role of a leader is not only to manage the country but to transform it. He has the vision, experience, and determination to bring about real and meaningful change,” Tobun said.
“Together, we can tackle the difficult challenges facing our nation, such as inequality, poverty, and unemployment. With the support of all Nigerians, we will work tirelessly to create a better future for all citizens and leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.”

On his part, the Lawmaker representing Epe Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Ogunkelu Oluwadahunsi aka Sketel, implored Epe voters to support the APC candidates.
According to Sketel, the election of both Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu would birth a synergy that works between the state and federal government.
“As a lawmaker, I have had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the positive outcome of the synergy between the state and federal government. Our governor has effectively utilised the resources and support provided by the federal government to address the needs of our state, resulting in significant progress in areas such as healthcare, transportation, and public safety,” he said.

“Additionally, the governor has successfully represented our state on the national stage, securing crucial funding and partnerships that have greatly benefited our citizens. I am proud to have been a part of this collaborative effort and look forward to continuing to work toward even greater success in the future.

Speaking on behalf of the Chairmen in Epe federal constituency, Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, the Chairman of Epe Local Government averred that the people of Epe, Eredo, Ikosi-Ejinrin are “ready to roll out the drums” to welcome APC bigwigs for the mega rally.
“Our amiable governor has made decisions and implemented policies that benefit the people he serves and what we as a people can do in return is to support such a governor with our votes. Our candidates across the board are geniuses who understand the specific needs and concerns of the local community and they implement these goals based on priorities,” she said.

“As Chairmen, we have always supported the Governor’s administration by providing them with accurate and up-to-date information about the community and its needs such as data on population demographics, economic conditions, and social issues such as poverty, crime, and education.

“Because this great party through our articulate and distinguished political office holders has been responsive to the needs and concerns of the people in the community by listening to their feedback, addressing their complaints and concerns, and working to address any issues that may arise, we are also committed effectively lead and govern the community.
