Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials To Hold National Conference

The 19th edition of the annual National Women Conference (NWC) of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO), has been scheduled for October 22 to 24, 2019.

Dr. (Mrs.) Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu at a press briefing ahead of the NWC said that a total of 3,000 participants are expected to attend the 2019 edition of the annual event.

The Conference theme: “Unlearn, Learn And Relearn: 21st Century Women’s T.H.E.M.E.S Perspectives/Approach would explore emerging opportunities being provided by the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the State.

First Lady of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari is expected to declare the Conference Open, alongside Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State, while his counterpart from Nasarawa, Abdullahi Sule would serve as Special Guest of Honour at the closing ceremony.
