As has been the case for a number of months now, the race for the Old Trafford hot seat falls to two contenders, Mauricio Pochettino and Erik Ten Hag.
While Ten Hag appears to be a favourite of both fans, Pochettino’s precarious situation at Paris St. Germain has made him a much easier option for the United board, who historically choose ease over success.
However, according to Athletic Journalist David Ornstein, the question on everyone’s mind could have an answer by the end of the month.
The reputable journalist claims that United will use the upcoming international break to accelerate their attempts to finalise a permanent boss.
Erik ten Hag is the bookies’ favourite, although Pochettino looks to be edging closer to the exit door at Paris Saint-Germain following his side’s 3-0 defeat against Monaco earlier today.
Coupled with their Champions League exit at the hands of Real Madrid a fortnight ago, the writing appears to be on the wall for the former Spurs boss.
