EKO HOT BLOG reports that Manchester United have decided to hire Ajax’s Erik Ten Hag as their next permanent manager, ESPN reports.
The 52-year-old was interviewed by senior officials at Old Trafford last month.
Ten Hag was on a four-man shortlist alongside Paris Saint-Germain’s Mauricio Pochettino, Spain coach Luis Enrique and Sevilla’s Julen Lopetegui.
Chelsea’s Thomas Tuchel and Bayern Munich’s Julian Nagelsmann were deemed to be out of reach, because of their commitment to their present employers.
United have now settled on Ten Hag as their new manager and he is ready to leave the Dutch champions to take charge at United at the end of the season.
