This calls have also been intensified by the humiliating defeat he suffered against Manchester United and also the loss against Manchester City, however there has been a lingering delay in what many believe to be inevitable.
Solskjaer although seems to have a majority backing, despite others in powerful positions demanding change.
Solskjaer is currently under intense pressure with the likes of Mauricio Pochettino, Zinedine Zidane and Eric ten Hag being mentioned to take over his job at Man United.
Ace broadcaster Fabrizio Romano has reported that the reason Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still the coach of Manchester as of this period is due to the lack of consensus by the board on sacking him.
Fabrizio Romano told the United Stand YouTube channel: “The Manchester United board are not stupid, they know that the situation is really complicated.
“The next game against Watford is so important.
“The main part of the Man Utd board are still supporting Ole, there are also some board members thinking about replacing him and going for another manager.
“They are always talking about this point, they do not think everything is okay.”
Manchester united will face Watford when club football resumes after the international break and that might be the defining moment for Solskjaer’s managerial career at the club.
