The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the 2019 general elections, Atiku Abubakar has begged the owners of International Cancer Centre to make it available for use following the increasing number of coronavirus cases in Nigeria.
Atiku’s son is one of the 46 cases that have tested positive for coronavirus in Nigeria.

Speaking through his Twitter handle, the former Vice President said the Centre is empty and can serve as an isolation centre.
He tweeted: “With the increasing number of Coronavirus cases in our country, I wish to make a passionate plea to owners of International Cancer Centre along Airport Road in Abuja to release it to FG for use as an additional facility.
“It is empty and isolated and can serve the need. In this time of National Crisis, all hands must be on deck. -AA”
