Coronavirus: Chinese Language Course Suspended In Nnamdi Azikiwe University

Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Anambra, Professor Charles Esimone has said that the school is opting for an online class to continue the lecturing of Chinese Language.

This is following the suspension of the Chinese Language course due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.

During a press briefing yesterday to unveil its programme for the forth-coming fourteenth convocation, the VC said most of the Chinese Lecturers of the Confucius Institute of the University went on holiday last December and they had to stop them from coming back immediately the disease broke out early this year.

He added that the efforts of the management of the university has made a great leap into the first one thousand universities in the university ranking, as against being above number two thousand previously.
