Coronavirus: Ganduje approves emergency hotlines against disease

Similar to Kaduna State’s Emergency Operation Centre, The Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje in a bid to set up preventive measures against Coronavirus has announced and advised citizens of the state to use the emergency hotlines provided by the Ministry of Health in case of any eventuality.

In a statement made public by the Commissioner for Information, Malam Muhammad Garba, the Governor said the surveillance and emergency response measures were in place to tackle possible outbreak of any communicable diseases.

He said government has provided emergency hotlines for citizens to call if they feel unwell or suspect a case of the corona virus.

The commissioner gave the emergency contact numbers as follows:

The statement appealed to the public to follow precautionary measures recommended by the Ministry of Health and other relevant government agencies.
