The Lagos State government has disclosed that the Italian citizen who brought coronavirus into the country has tested negative to the virus.
Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, made the disclosure during a press conference on Thursday.

According to him, the Italian would not be allowed to go until a confirmatory test had been carried out within 48 hours.
He also added that if he tested negative for the second time, he would be discharged.
The man, who flew into Nigeria from Milan, Italy, on February 24, has been receiving treatment at the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba, Lagos.
