The Lagos Environmental Sanitation Corps has advised Lagosians to obey the restriction directives of the Federal Government and the Lagos State Government in the efforts to curb the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking on the assessment of Day Two of the lockdown, the Corps Marshal, LAGESC, CP Gbemisola Akinpelu (Rtd) said the operatives of the Agency have been deployed to different locations for proper monitoring and compliance with the stay-at-home order.

While explaining that the operatives have been mandated to sensitise some of our youths taking advantage of lack of vehicle movements on our roads to play soccer, she maintained that there is need for everyone to abide by the social distancing advice in their own interest.
The Corp Marshal advised all residents to stay at home, avoid mass congregation of any kind as well as non-essential outings until further directives are issued.
She, however, commended Lagosians for complying with the directives, imploring them to call or send text messages to the following phone numbers to report any person or group of persons violating the lockdown order: 09010517187, 09010517180 and 09010519979.
