The Commissioner declared that provision must be made for hand-washing, in addition to the use of alcohol-based sanitisers for workers and visitors alike, stressing that it is equally important that all construction workers observe social distancing of not less two metres.
Salako, therefore, urged residents to team up with the Government in curbing the spread of the virus in Lagos State by reporting to the Ministry or its Agencies any construction site that fails to comply with the guidelines.
He emphasised that the Lagos State Government, through the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, would not hesitate to immediately shut any construction site found violating its directives.
