Coronavirus Lockdown: Homeless Woman Stranded On Festac Link Bridge With Daughter

An unidentified young woman, who looked mentally unstable and her daughter were spotted sitting on a canal bridge in Festac-Amuwo Odofin, Lagos.

From eyewitness report, it was learnt that they had been there for days, stranded and apparently homeless.

The young lady who is obviously aware of the Coronavirus pandemic, was wrapped in hand gloves and face mask, to protect herself and her child.

After efforts to make her speak, the woman said she is a widow and passes the night in one of the markets.

At dawn, she leaves with her daughter to find daily bread and accomodation as well.

Another eyewitness said, “Despite their odds, they are staying protecting themselves in  one way or the other. Not like some of us who have shelter but still being careless”.
