The Kwara State Fire service, on Saturday announced the discovery of the corpse of a 26-year-old man.
The service identified him as Abdulwaheed Abdullateef, declared missing four days ago by his family.
The rescue operation team of the service discovered the lifeless body of the missing man at Moro River bank, around Oko-Olowo area of Ilorin, the state capital.
A statement by the head of media and publicity of the service, Hassan Hakeem in Ilorin on Saturday, said the “body was spotted this afternoon by one Hassan at Moro River bank.”
He said the team arrived at the scene at exactly 12.45 hours and recovered the dead body.

“The body has been handed over to the parent of the deceased,” the statement added, just as it consoled the family.
It said the parents declared the deceased missing about four days ago.
