Court Convicts Banker for N.7m Fraud

The EFCC Kano Zonal office today, October 17, 2019 arraigned one Anochima Chidozie Christopher before Justice Farouk Lawan of the Kano State High Court on a two count charge bordering on Cheating and Theft.

The convict, a banker alleged around May 7, 2019 at Kano, did fraudulently defrauded one Anayo Anaezionwu to various sums of N300,000 & N400, 000 on two different occasion, an offence contrary to Section 320 of the Penal Code Law and punishable under section 322 of the same Law.

The accused person pleaded guilty to the charges against him and was subsequently convicted.
