The car theft charges filed against Nigerian artist, Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley has been dismissed by a Tinubu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on Tuesday.
Chief Magistrate Tajudeen Elias had in 2 weeks ago, threatened to issue a bench warrant for Naira Marley’s arrest if he fails to appear in court today, January 14, 2020, for arraignment.
Although Naira Marley was absent in court today, the Chief Magistrate struck out the four-count charge of conspiracy, stealing, assault and obstructing the police from arresting Marley.

Elias made the order after receiving a settlement agreement between the complainant Adelekan Ademola and the four defendants.
Naira Marley, his two brothers Idris Fashola, 18; Babatunde Fashola, 24; and their cousin, Kunle Obere, 22 were the defendants in the case.
