After her refusal to heed to court summons, the trial of Nollywood actress, Monalisa Chinda-Coker, has been fixed for October.
According to an Igbosere court, the alleged tax evasion trial will commence on October 10 after it couldn’t hold on the ealier announced June 5 due to the Eid-el-Fitr holiday.
Justice Adedayo Akintoye, at resumed hearing on Thursday, said October 10 is the new date for trial to commence.
The Kiss & Tell actress, who is also a movie producer, is battling a two-count charge of failure to file annual tax returns and failure to pay income tax in respect of her company, Monalisa Code Productions.
