The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has announced that its would deliver her judgment on appeal suit filed against Governor Emeka Ihedioha’s gubernatorial victory in the last governorship election.
The Five-man panel led by Justice Oyebisi Omoleye, disclosed that the judgment on the three separate appeal would be delivered at a latter date after the various parties have submitted their addresses.

It could be recalled that the Imo Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal had upheld the victory of Ihedioha as the legitimate elected governor of the state in the March 9 gubernatorial elections.
Meanwhile, the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) and his governorship candidate, Senator Ifeanyi Ararume; Action Alliance (AA) and his governorship candidate, Uche Nwosu and that of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and its governorship candidate, Sen. Hope Uzodinma, had filled separate appeal suits challenging the victory of governor Ihedioha on the grounds that he failed to pull the required number of votes.
The appellant prayed the court to declare the election invalid and ordered INEC to conduct fresh election in the state.
