A Court In Nyanya, Abuja, on Wednesday sentenced a 27-year-old man, Isaac Samuel, for stealing 15 plasma televisions and laptops to a month community service, which will be carried out by sweeping the court premises.
Judge Abdullahi Ogedengbe, invoked public incitement for the sentence passed on Samuel after pleading guilty, and he also gave the convict an option of fine of N5,000.
Earlier, the prosecutor, Mr. D.F Abba, in his argument told the court that in 2018, the convict alongside others at large conspired to steal 15 televisions, five laptops, and other valuables from residents of Durumi.

He continued that the convict confessed and pleaded guilty to the crime during police investigations and that the offence contravenes the provisions of section 97 and 298 of the penal code.
