A court sitting in Abuja has rejected the application of the former Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, to restrain the Imo State Government and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) from confiscating his properties.

Recall that Okorocha and the current governor of the State, Hope Uzodinma, have been on the battle of supremacy since 2019 after the swearing of Uzodinma.
Okorocha, who is now a senator representing Imo West Senatorial District in the Ninth Senate, was the immediate past governor of Imo State.
