Two friends who apparently raped and videotaped a teenager were placed in pre-trial detention by a court in Ota., Ogun State on Wednesday, January 6.
The police charged Oluwadamilare Oyeniyi,30, and Okoriji Emmanuel,30, on charges of conspiracy and rape., EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
The state counsel, Oluwole Ayede, has stated this in court that the duo committed the crime on December 12, 2020 at their home in the Sango Ota neighborhood of Ogun.
Ayede claimed that Oyeniyi and Emmanuel plotted and violated the victim. He further alleged that Oyeniyi and Emmanuel were caught taping the crime.

The offence, he said, contravened the provisions of sections 358 and 516 of Vol.1 Criminal Code Vol.1,Laws of Ogun, 2006.
The magistrate Shotunde Shotayo, who failed to accept the request of Oyeniyi and Emmanuel, directed police to return the file to Ogun’s Director of Public Prosecutions for legal guidance.
Shotayo put the case on hold until March 5th.
