COVID-19: 16 Kano Almajiri Returnees Test Positive In Kaduna

Kaduna State government on Thursday announced that it has has recorded 16 new cases of COVID-19 in the state.

The state Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, made the announcement in a tweet on Thursday.

He said all the new cases were almajiris from Kano.

He wrote, “KDSG has confirmed 16 new COVID-19 cases in the state.

“The new cases, all almajiris from Kano, have raised the number of active COVID-19 cases in Kaduna State from 9 to 25.”

Meanwhile, Nigeria on Wednesday recorded 196 cases of the virus,Wednesday recorded 196 cases of the virus, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 1728.
