The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Thursday disclosed that the country has recorded 124 new COVID-19.
The agency also announced that 21 persons lost their lives to the virulent infection while 185 people were discharged between 3th and 4th of September.
The agency made this known in its daily update on its official twitter page.
Giving a breakdown of the 124 new cases, 42 are confirmed in Lagos, FCT 25, Katsina-14, Kaduna-11, Kwara-8, Ondo-7, Delta-4, Anambra-3, Oyo-3, Edo-2, Ogun-2, Osun-2, Cross River-1.
Plateau, which recorded the highest cases for seven consecutive days preceeding yesterday, has no confirmed cases.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 54,588, with 42,627 discharged and 1,048 deaths recorded.
