COVID-19: 707 Discharged Within 24 hours As NCDC Confirms 252 New Cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has disclosed that 707 COVID-19 patients were discharged across the country between Monday and Tuesday.

The agency made the disclosure in its daily situation report of COVID-19 on its official twitter page on Tuesday evening.

It has announced that 252 new cases have been recorded in the country.

According to the agency, of the 252 new cases, 50 are detected in Plateau, Enugu-35, Rivers-27, Lagos-26, FCT-18, Kaduna-18, Ekiti-10, Kano-10, Taraba-9, Anambra-8, Edo-8, Oyo-8, Delta-7, Ogun-6, Abia-5, Bayelsa-5, Ebonyi-1, Osun-1.

The new development brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 52,800 with 39,964 discharged and 1,007 deaths
