COVID-19: Comply With Govt’s Directive On Face Masks, Eredo LCDA Chairman Urges Residents
Hon. Adeniyi Saliu, Chairman, Eredo LCDA, has urged residents of the community to comply with the government directive on the wearing of face masks in order to curtail the spread of coronavirus.
The Chairman told Eko Hot Blog that many residents still feigned ignorance about the pandemic, saying this had made them violate the order.
According to him, all residents, including the residents, business owners, bike and tricycle riders, and market women, must embrace the use of face masks to contain the deadly disease.
“Many people still believe that COVID-19 is a hoax but the truth of the matter is that it is real, and this is why everyone must wear face masks for protection against the virus.
“The state government has given the order; we should obey it. Nobody should be left out; nobody is bigger than COVID-19.

“We are appealing to our people to see the need to obey the use of face masks because it is for their own good,” he said.
Saliu urged the media to continue to create awareness and enlighten the public on the advantages of using face masks to curtail the spread of the virus.
Saliu also used the opportunity to congratulate the stalwart political leader from Epe Division, Alhaji Akanni Seriki Bamu, on his Birthday celebration today.
“May Baba continues to live long on the land of the living, ” he prayed.
