The Executive Chairman of Eti Osa East Local Council Development Area, Hon. Olufunmi Rafiu Olatunji has distributed the relief packages, received from Julius Berger Plc to the residents of Eti Osa East.
Olufemi who had given 4000 face masks to his people in earlier hours toady, 29 April 2020, started the sharing of the relief package in the afternoon.
After the distribution, he told all the beneficiaries that many other palliative packages are still coming from government and nongovernmental organizations.
He added that the rule of social distancing and stay-at-home order should be respected.

“Julius Berger has been known a long time for its kind gestures and other humanitarian assistance. Thank you very much. Your gesture will always be remembered, even our posterity will not forget this,” he said.
The special assistant to the Executive Chairman, Mr Gbenga Arowolo, said the residents of the council area should have belief in the chairman as he is a man of integrity and transparency. Arowolo went further to say that if the residents don’t violate the rules laid down by the government, that the effect of the lockdown would be felt positively.
“We thank you all for the trust you have in this government and I promise you that this government will always be there for you,” he said.
The contents of the relief packages are rice, spaghetti, and condiments for cooking.
