COVID-19: Daddy Showkey Blasts Social Distancing Violators (VIDEO)

Nigerian singer, Daddy Showkey, has come down hard on Nigerians especially Lagos residents for violating social distancing rules.

Ekohotblog recalls that on May 4, 2020, President Muhammadu Buhari eased the lockdown issued in some states to contain the spread of coronavirus.

Upon the ease of the lockdown, many have been found violating social distancing rules in the course of carrying out their daily activities.

People also stormed commercial banks in large numbers, shunning the directive.

In a video shared on his Instagram handle, Daddy Showkey heavily lashed Nigerians who violated the rules at the expense of their health.

According to him, after contracting the virus, the people who he tagged “stupid people” pour out the blames on the federal government which can only issue directives for citizens to follow.

Still ranting in pidgin, the singer said despite how well-to-do Nigerians have made efforts in providing financial and material supports for them, they chose to violate the rules.

He said; “Stupid people, I no say una go cause me but una be stupid people!! Instead, wey all of una to sit down for house, una go dey rush..una no say na una life una dey take play?….” he asked.
