COVID-19 Deaths Surpasses 2700 As NCDC Announces 437 Fresh Cases
- Total cases confirmed – 205,484
- Total cases discharged – 193,482
- Total deaths recorded – 2,701
The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 205,484 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated September 29, the NCDC reports 437 new cases with 6 COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in the FCT and 17 states – Lagos-126, Rivers-76, Kwara-44, FCT-37, Edo-32, Kaduna-30, Anambra-22, Delta-22, Osun-12, Benue-7, Abia-6, Nasarawa-6, Kano-5, Ekiti-3, Plateau-3, Bayelsa-2, Ogun-2 and Oyo-2.
According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Bauchi and Sokoto States.
EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 193,482 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,701.
