COVID-19: Delta state Health Workers Cry Out Over Eight Months Unpaid Salary

Delta State health workers told Ekohotblog correspondent that delta government has not paid for the past Eight months.

The health workers revealed that they hardly afford their daily food and it has resorted to trekking to work because of lack of money to pay transport fares.

Meanwhile, the Medical interns and house officers of the Delta State Hospital Management Board have lamented over the refusal of the state government to pay their eight months salaries.

They further said some of their colleagues have tested positiive for dreaded coronavirus (COVID-19) due to unavailability of Personal Protective Equipment in the medical centre.
