COVID-19: Dubai Prime Minister Sends Medical, Food Aid To Nigeria
The Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has ordered the shipment of what is described as “urgent humanitarian aid” to Nigeria.
According to a series of tweets on the official Twitter handle of The Government of Dubai Media Office, @DXBMediaOffice, the reason for the gesture is to assist Nigeria in fighting the COVID-19 global pandemic.

According to the Twitter post, the relief shipments include 14 tonnes of medical supplies and 20 tonnes of food supplies.
They were dispatched on Saturday from the International Humanitarian City in Dubai, the tweets added.
