COVID-19: Italian Prime Minister Assures Football Club Hope
Italian Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte, has told professional football clubs to be optimistic that pandemic will come to past before May 18.
The minister has assured not only the footballers but the whole country as it seems that they had really obeyed the national lockdown. The minister moved further to say that restriction in the country will be eased on May 4. He moved further to say that all the tournaments that were stopped because of coronavirus will be brought back.
“Family will start seeing family and friends will start seeing each other as well,” he said.

Some Nigerian football fans reacted to this optimistic message from the Italian Minister.
Mr. Taiwo Ajadi said truly he is a fan of English Clubs, Arsenal precisely, but he loved the word of encouragement from the minister.
“After darkness, light has begun to shine now in Italy and very happy that the massive dying from Covid-19 in Italy has come to past,” he said.
One of the players of Maiyegun FC, Issa Lawal, said Nigerians should be hopeful that the COVID-19 is going soon and things will come to normalcy. “Our death rate from COVID-19 is not one-quarter of that of Italy but today they are hopeful than any other country in the world,” he said.
