Covid 19: Kaduna State Records 10,173 lnfections, 81 Death

Eko Hot Blog reports that Kaduna State Primary Health Care Board has called on Stakeholders for a more vigorous approach to fight against the spread and prevention of Coronavirus Pandemic in Kaduna state and Nigeria as a whole.

The State Health Educator, Mallam lsah Yushau, Said “so far the Kaduna state has recorded about 10,173, while 81 persons have Died of this virus, so this figure were received from 23 local governments of the state,

Mallam lsah is speaking at a forum which the Kaduna State Primary Health Care Board called for discussion on Covid 19 Mass Vaccination, the challenges and the way forward, with critical stakeholders.

 

That is why we called All stakeholders to discuss way forward and also sensitizes the Public on the need of staying safe from the Coronavirus, These stakeholders are the representative of their organizations, and will go back and inform their Communities on this vital information to the respective members.

Mallam Ibrahim lsah Kufena the State Secretary of Jama’atul Nasrul Islam Kaduna state chapter said “the government should explore more strategic ways to inform and educate the public on the impact of the Vaccine through engaging relevant stakeholders to champion the course, adding that the present Sensitization those not reach the common man, there is need to use more critical stakeholders, in this course,he added.

Also Speaking at the Stakeholders Forum, the State Secretary on Special Duties National Union of Road Transport Workers,(N U R T W) Kaduna state Council, Comrade Hassan lbrahim, said ” it is high time that the government engaged stakeholders in this course, and this can be achieved through the use of Social and conventional Media to sensitizes the Public on the need for people to access the Vaccine, more awareness campaign should also be done by Egagin all sectors for this to be done because stakeholders have a vital role to play.

He further said “we have some situations where people come to the state without being vaccinated, which they can infect others so there is need for collaborative efforts between state to vaccinate the citizens before embarking on journey to other states, this will really prevent the state from been affected by other citizens from other states, l believe this is also another Method of prevention the Public from infecting the virus
