The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 208,404 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated October 13, the NCDC reports 251 new cases with 5 COVID-related deaths.

The new cases were reported in the FCT and 13 states – FCT (78), Lagos (46), Kaduna (27), Rivers (21), Imo (16), Edo (13), Delta (12), Plateau (10), Niger (7), Bauchi (6), Kwara (6), Akwa Ibom (4), Benue (3) and Nasarawa (2).
According to the NCDC, 0 cases were in reported in Bauchi and Kano States.
EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 196,123 cases have been discharged while the death toll has risen to 2,761.
