Lagos government under the administration of gov, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced the discharge 40 coronavirus patients in the state.
The governor made this announcement on his official Facebook page in the late hours of Thursday.
He said the patients discharged were a combination of seventeen female, twenty-three male and two foreigners.
“Today, 40 patients:17 females and 23 males including two foreign nationals were today discharged from our isolation facilities to reunite with the society”.

“The patients 19 from Onikan, seven from Gbagada, three from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba and three from LUTH isolation centres were discharged today after full recovery and testing negative to Covid-19”, Sanwo-Olu announced.
The governor went on to emphasis on safety precautions and adherence to these rules.
He advises residents of the state to follow all health directive given to them to curb the spread of the pandemic.
Lagos state is the epicentre of the pandemic with the highest number of cases.
It has recorded another 193 cases on Thursday, which brings the total record to 10,893 cases.
