COVID-19: Lagos’ Tally Surges As Nigeria Records 186 New Infections

  • Total cases confirmed – 168,442
  • Total cases discharged – 164,323
  • Total deaths recorded – 2,122

The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 168,442 COVID-19 cases.

In its latest case update dated July 9, the NCDC reports 186 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 3 states – Lagos-175, Rivers-8 and Gombe-3.

According to the NCDC, 0 cases were reported from FCT, Nasarawa, Plateau, Kano, Kaduna and Sokoto States.

EKO HOT BLOG gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 164,323 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,122.
