COVID-19: Leader Of The Council In Eti Osa Takes Palliative Care To The Underprivileged Ones In His Ward
The Council Leader and councillor of ward E, Hon. Muftau Ogunderu has taken his Palliative Care to the grassroots, stating that the old women and men were his target.
He moved further to say that the council chairman, Alhaji Saheed Bankole, had engaged the whole council members when sharing the Palliative responsibility to every citizen of Eti-Osa. He added that his ward was among the beneficiaries but the old ones couldn’t come out during the sharing of the general one.
“We had engaged our youths in many lucrative activities and they will never be forgotten when any opportunity still shows up,” he said.
A beneficiary, Mrs Abosede Kadir, said the council leader has been a responsible representative among his colleagues. She added that some month ago, before the advent of COVID-19 that, that the leader gave some old women (10,000) ten thousand naira each in she was included. “He that feeds the old ones will never live on a crumble of food,” she said.

A youthful lady who also lives in the leader’s ward, Mrs Sarah Aron, commended on his kind gestures over the years but reminded him of the fact that he still needed to do more, especially for the youths. She moved further to say that they are also expecting the council chairman’s surprising package.
“I pray that may Almighty God provide your needs as well and save way from all hidden calamities,” she prayed.
An elderly stateman in All Progressive Congress (APC), Mr Akingbade Jimoh, said the leader had not reached some zones, especially zone 2 where the majority partisans of the party are.
He moved further to say that the leader has taken a good move because this initiative is one of welcomed development that could alleviate the stress of the citizens at this period of economic hardship.
“You and your entourage will never meet up with evil and evil will never meet up with you,” he said.
