COVID-19 Lockdown: Trigger-happy Soldier Kills Resident In Delta (VIDEO)

In a sour twist of events in Warri, Delta state, an overactive soldier manning a checkpoint has killed a young man, for defying the lockdown directive ordered by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the State.
According to an eye witness,  the victim, Joseph Pessu was shot for refusing to stop for the soldiers at a checkpoint at, Ubenji-Ugbaguwe area of Warri.
The body of the deceased has been taken to Area Command, A division Warri.
It was gathered that the overzealous soldier took heels from the scene after shooting Joseph.
Believably, this fueled a violent march by a  group of protesters, who were fuming with vengeance for the murder of Joseph Pessu.
Ekohotblog learned that the fuming group mobbed a soldier, seized their weapons and attempted to set them ablaze.
Recall that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on the 27th of March ordered a lockdown on Delta residents from April 1 in a bid to curtail the spread of COVID-19.
