EKO HOT BLOG reports that the latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirms that Nigeria now has a total of 220,020 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated December 15, the NCDC reports 1,424 new cases with no COVID-related death.

The new cases were reported in 15 states – Lagos-796, Delta-152, FCT-130, Edo-129, Oyo-82, Ondo-39, Rivers-39, Kaduna-15, Enugu-9, Anambra-8, Kwara-7, Ogun-7, Bayelsa-4, Kano-4 and Akwa Ibom-3.
According to the NCDC, no case was recorded in Bauchi, Ekiti, Osun and Zamfara States.
It was gathered that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 211,292 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,983.
